Ariston Holdings Limited

Ariston Holdings Limited was founded in 1947 as a single tea farm in Zimbabwe's Eastern Highlands and has been listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange for decades. What began as a focused tea-growing operation has diversified over time into macadamia nuts, bananas, avocados, poultry, livestock and row crops, with a planned revival of Zimbabwean coffee production from 2025. The company operates as a subsidiary of Origin Global Holdings Limited. In April 2026, long-serving CEO Leon Nortier departed and was succeeded by Farai Madziva as part of a broader company restructuring.

Corporate structure

Ariston operates five agricultural estates: Clearwater and Southdown Estate (tea and macadamia growing and processing, including the Davora macadamia facility and a solar-powered tea processing line), Rosscommon (clonal tea gardens with its own factory and sawmill in the Chimanimani Mountains), the BTF Factory at Clearwater (tea packaging, home of the Three Leaves brand), and Kent Estate (row crops, poultry and livestock in the central highlands). The Group is governed by a Board of Directors led by a Group Chairman, with operations run by the Chief Executive Officer.
