First Capital Bank Limited

First Capital Bank Zimbabwe traces its roots to 1912, when it opened as Barclays Bank in what was then Southern Rhodesia. It rebranded to First Capital Bank in 2018 after FMBcapital Holdings Plc (a Mauritius-based financial services group) acquired a controlling stake, and the bank is now a subsidiary of FMBcapital Holdings. In March 2023 the board approved delisting from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and migrating to the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange; the ZSE delisting took effect on 17 May 2023, making First Capital Bank the first Zimbabwean bank to list on the VFEX, trading in US dollars under the ticker FCA.vx.

First Capital Bank Zimbabwe is a commercial bank headquartered in Harare, operating as part of the FMBcapital Holdings group's pan-African banking network. The bank is governed by a Board of Directors chaired on a non-executive basis, with an executive team led by the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Finance Officer.
