Axia Corporation Limited

Axia Corporation Limited was incorporated on 24 February 2016 through a scheme of reconstruction that unbundled Innscor Africa Limited's Speciality Retail and Distribution business into a standalone group. Axia formally unbundled from Innscor on 1 April 2016 and listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange on 17 May 2016, becoming the third Innscor offshoot to trade separately on the bourse (after Simbisa Brands and Innscor itself). Axia delisted from the ZSE on 28 February 2023 and relisted on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX) on 3 March 2023 to trade in US dollars.

Corporate structure

Axia operates three business units: TV Sales & Home (TVSH, furniture and electronics retail, established 1968, with manufacturing interests in Restapedic mattresses and Legend Lounge suites), Transerv (automotive spares and accessories retail, established 2002), and Distribution Group Africa (DGA, FMCG distribution and logistics across Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi, established by Innscor in 1999). The Group is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by an independent non-executive chairman, with an executive team led by the Group Chief Executive Officer overseeing each operating unit's own managing director and finance director.
