Caledonia Mining Corporation Limited

Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc is a gold producer, explorer and developer whose operations are concentrated in Zimbabwe. Its principal producing asset is a 64% interest in the Blanket Mine near Gwanda in Matabeleland South, alongside 100% interests in the Bilboes gold project and the Motapa and Maligreen properties.

The company is registered in Jersey and its shares trade on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Caledonia took a secondary listing on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange, where the counter trades as CMCL.VX, giving Zimbabwean investors direct US dollar exposure to the group's domestic gold production.

Recent operational milestones include the ramp-up of the Central Shaft at Blanket, which extended the mine's productive life and lifted throughput, and the commissioning of a solar plant to reduce the mine's dependence on grid power.

Corporate structure

Caledonia's head office is at 2nd Floor, 2 Mulcaster Street, St Helier, Jersey, with a South African operations office on Constantia Boulevard, Floracliffe. The operating assets — Blanket, Bilboes, Motapa and Maligreen — are all held in Zimbabwe.

The Board comprises two executive Directors and eight independent non-executive Directors and has adopted the Quoted Companies Alliance Corporate Governance Code. It operates six committees: Audit and Risk, Compensation, Nomination and Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Technical, and ESG.
