Mashonaland Holdings was incorporated in July 1966, formed from the Mashonaland & Provincial Trust Company (Pvt) Ltd and Mashonaland Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd. In 1969 it became the first property company to list on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, where it continues to trade under ticker MASH.
